Day 94

Started back on trail this morning after a quick resupply at Walmart. We only had 15 miles to hike to the Eckville Shelter so we weren't in a rush

Feels great to see Katahdin is only triple digits away. Very excited to get back to the grind to get that number lower.

Didn't have too much for views today, the Ridgeline is quite boring and rocky. Don't think we will have many views for a while either.

The Eckville Shelter is at mile 1235, and has its own caretaker and bunkhouse who lives on site

There was a flushing toilet, a water spiqot, sleeping bunks, trash cans etc. The national park service will be tearing down the shelter in the fall because of some legality regarding its "proximity to the road,  and their failure to fall within modern NPS Housing, volunteer, and visitor policies.

We have a few shorter 17-19 mile days ahead of us till our next resupply in the Delaware Water Gap.

Happy Trails 🌲
