Day 100!

Today had lots of great photo opportunities, bogs, swamps, wildlife reserves, boardwalks, etc. new Jersey could be the 2nd favorite state so far.
Started to see rock walls again, especially since we crossed the border into New Jersey. Makes it feel like we are back in New England

I took a break in this patio chair with a great view of the meadow and mountains.

Also got to stop by a house that offers trail magic to hikers. They have a mini fridge outside their house along with water, and a charging station. They live right on the trail and have this sign out to direct people

Stopped at a farmstane for a quick drink and some ice cream before our final 6 miles of the day. We had to go up "stairway to heaven" which was really just a lot of stone steps. We pushed another half mile after the shelter to get to the Warwick Drive in Theater. We were able to get a hitch into town where we ate dinner at the grocery store then camped at the drive in.

Very friendly hiker town because we got picked up very quick and he even said he always brings hikers to town on his commute back home. It's only 2 miles so it's not a crazy commitment.

It's $5 to camp, $5 for a chair, and $5 for a radio to listen to the movie. We ended up watching Masters of the Universe, which was a HeMan remake. It was a terrible movie, but worth the experience. The show didn't start till 8:45pm and we were struggling to stay up that late.

Happy Trails 🌲
